The Indian Idol’s journey in search of “Ek Awaaz Jispar Ho Desh Ko Naaz" has become an integral part of the viewer’s lives as it draws ardent support and a voting frenzy. All the four judges were shown selecting the contestants. Mini and Hussain started off the show. Hussain announced that the contestants will come in batches consisting of 6 people from which 2 people will be selected. From the first batch Aisha and Padmanav got selected, from second batch Bhavin and Suhit got selected and from the third batch three people got selected they are Shantanu, Amit and Ankita, so there are 7 lucky Wild Card contestants now.
