Sony Entertainment Television Asia has started its hit reality show Indian Idol 3 on May 4, 2007. At the end of the first week of Indian Idol 3, Richa Aneja, a cute little girl was the one who stood out outstandingly. She sang “Beedi Jalaile” and has got the yellow ticket for Mumbai. The other contestants worth mentioning are Ram and Shyam. Shyam didn’t get selected even though the verdict given to him was “sur mein gaya”. Ram got rejected after his performance.
The judges are new, as you already know, comprise of Alisha who compensates for Farah’s absence, Javed Akhtar and Anu Malik. It seems that everyone gets a ticket from the hosts Mini Mathur and Hussain. Anu Malik criticize the contestants so much that even the parents of the contestants spoked out against him. The reality effect of the nationwide popular talent hunt show will be kept intact by not editing the outburst of anger of some people, pledging of rejected candidates and the strong criticism from the judges of Indian Idol 3.
