On May 19, 2007 the “Indian Idol 3” will show 123 participants who are coming to Mumbai to compete in the theater round at NCPA. Indian Idol has arranged a cruise party off the Gateway of India as a surprise. The contestants were treated with Mumbai style pani puri and they enjoyed dancing in the middle of the sea.The Reality talent hunt show Indian Idol is a definitely a platform, for the youngsters to display there talent as millions of people watch over them. The panel of judges consisting of Alisha Chinai, Udit Narayan, Javed Akhtar and Annu Malek will select 28 people who tops in the competition. In the coming weeks the selected 28 contestants will compete for their place which will be shown in the next round of Indian Idol 3.
Who will become the Indian Idol 3 “Bharat Ki Shaan”? It will be decided by the viewers. The viewers have to vote for their favourite contestant. Don’t forget to tune into Sony Entertainment Television Asia every Friday and Saturday at 9:00 pm, join the excitement that the Indian Idol 3 brings.

This is about the youngest female contestant in the episode shown on 18th may’07. Sorry I forgot the name, it starts with “R” if I m not wrong she is from Punjab & is paired with Prashant.
It was clear that the girl was not happy with the looks of her partner, pretty sad to she such thing happing on Such a Big, popular show which is watched by millions of people.
As a viewer I believed channel should not encourage such things coz at such a young age if this girl is showing so many tantrums, then GOD knows what’ll happen if she win tomorrow.
Also after seeing 18th May’s episode it was clear that she was mentally harassing the guy.
Have spoken to many of my friends, they too have same opinion.
Such people will only bring disgrace to the show.
I accept the channel with do fair justice to the boy. As he is equally talented.
