Sony Entertainment Television Asia will telecast the Kolkata audition and the London auditions on May 18, 2007 at 9:00pm. In the second week of Indian Idol 3, Vanita, Rashmi Vijaya and Sumit Gosai got the Yellow Ticket.The Reality show Indian Idol 3 will give the Indian nationals an opportunity to chase their dreams and the power to make one talented contestant to become “Bharat Ki Shaan”. The “Indian Idol” will be awarded a contract worth One Crore with Sony Entertainment Television in addition to a recording contract with Sony BMG.
About the Judges: Udit Narayan, known for his versatile tone is undoubtedly the king among male playback singers. Alisha Chinai the “Indian Madonna” made history in Indipop with the song ‘Made in India’. One of her latest hit song is ‘Kajra Re’. Javed Akhtar is an excellent lyricist, screenplay writer and poet. Many awards have gone his way for his superb work. Annu Maliik is one among the most successful music directors in the film industry. Annu Maliik judged Indian Idol the last two seasons and is now doing the job for Indian Idol 3 also.

This is about the youngest female contestant in the episode shown on 18th may’07. Sorry I forgot the name, it starts with “R” if I m not wrong she is from Punjab & is paired with Prashant.
It was clear that the girl was not happy with the looks of her partner, pretty sad to she such thing happing on Such a Big, popular show which is watched by millions of people.
As a viewer I believed channel should not encourage such things coz at such a young age if this girl is showing so many tantrums, then GOD knows what’ll happen if she win tomorrow.
Also after seeing 18th May’s episode it was clear that she was mentally harassing the guy.
Have spoken to many of my friends, they too have same opinion.
Such people will only bring disgrace to the show.
I expect the channel will do fair justice to the boy. As he is equally talented.

How can she behave like that with Prashanth.What the use of good voice if she don't have good attitude.
Such people are shame to the show.I request the judges to eliminate her.So, that no one dares to behave like that from now onwards.
